balance sheet snowboarding season 2018/19

All in a very good season.

For pre-opening I again booked a carving fresh-up workshop with Pure Boarding in Pitztal (November 22 to November 25). As expected this was a great experience with friendly people, but obviously extremely exhausting. ;-)

I started the regular season on December 15 in Damüls on artificial snow, riding a series of bumps through artifical snowfall. We then got a little bit of snow around christmas, which Diedamskopf somehow managed to converted to high-quality slopes, allowing 5 snow days up to and including January 1.

Then this season's snowfall happened (The total amount was not unusual, but quite a bit fell in a very short time.) and I had three amazing days in mid of January. Which promptly was followed by me hurting myself (again) when luging. Did not look/feel too bad, but MRI showed a small tibial plateau fracture, resulting in a snowboarding break until February 23, missing a period of great weather and great snow. From that point on I tried to take a holiday from work whenever there was a sunny day (14 days on-piste in March). Diedamskopf closed early this year (April 7, with about 280 cm of snow left), and even Warth ended the season on easter monday. I had an amazing Easter week with loads of sunshine.

Well here is the balance-sheet, excluding pre-opening in Pitztal and our company outing in Brandnertal (on January 12):
